So since the holiday season is now upon us…we are in the giving spirit here at Artistic Impressions. We have recently decided to hold a fundraiser for a local school, St. Charles Catholic School, here in Winnipeg. This school is a wonderful private school and doesn’t receive the same funding from the government as a school in the public system.
In order to keep the tuition reasonable for a families to afford, they rely alot on fundraising for the items that the school needs. One such item, that is a new key learing tool in the classrooms is a SMART board. A SMART board is an interactive whiteboard that replaces a chalkboard and overhead projections. Both Grant and myself think it is a great learning experience for the children and of course the way of the future. Because we feel so fortunate that our daughter is in a class with such new technology, we would like to see more of them in schools for all children to benefit from. They do cost a lot of money, so we thought we would help out by holding a fundraiser to raise money to purchase one…or two. What a great Christmas present it would be for the school and to be able to announce the achievement at their annual Christmas concert!
We brainstormed and came up with the perfect fundraiser for this time of year that everyone can easily take part in and be able to help St. Charles Catholic School in obtaining a new SMART board. So here is the deal…most families still send out traditional holiday greeting cards. What is better is sending cards to your family and friends with a recent portrait of your family or children for everyone to see much the kids have grown up, how your family is growing…and how older we are looking

We are offering a “wee” Christmas portrait session that includes 25 Christmas cards for only $75! We will donate back to the school the full $75 to be put towards the purchase of a new SMART board. It will take as few as 35 families to participate to purchase one SMART board. What a great way to support the school and for you to also get something in return, that you can share with your family and friends.

$75 per session* includes:
• 1 “wee” Christmas family or childrens portrait session (includes 1 background and upto 10 proofs to choose from)
• 25-5×7 personalized photo Greeting Cards** (a number of designs to choose from exclusive to our studio)
• Additional cards are available at only $3.25/card**
• 100% of the session fee goes to St. Charles Catholic School for the purchase of a new SMART board.
